Back-to-school enrollment campaign


More than 9 million children are living without health insurance in the U.S., 172,000 in Michigan alone, and the Back-to-School season is the most Back to School Graphicimportant time of year for helping uninsured children enroll in low-cost and free health insurance programs.  

The Michigan Primary Care Association (MPCA), in partnership with the Michigan Cover the Uninsured
Network, is sponsoring a state-wide Back-to-School enrollment campaign, but we need your help to get kids covered!  

Schools are considered trusted institutions that can communicate credibly with families. A survey
of parents with children eligible for public health care coverage found that more than half of
them said they would be more likely to enroll their children if they could do so at their school or child care center.
